Tanya Beja

Head of Latin America

Tanya leads Blue Marble's strategy and venture portfolio in Latin America. She also oversees the development of Blue Marble’s social impact measurement.

Prior to joining Blue Marble, Tanya was a Senior Program Officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, where she focused on extending grants and structuring program-related investments to poverty-fighting organizations in New York City. Previously, Tanya worked at IGNIA, the first impact venture capital fund in Latin America. As one of IGNIA’s first hires, Tanya was involved in multiple areas of the fund, including managing investor relations, helping source investments, working with portfolio companies on selected strategies for growth and representing IGNIA in a wide array of organizations. Tanya also consulted for Banco Compartamos, the largest microfinance bank in Latin America. She started her career at NERA Economic Consulting.

Tanya holds an MPP in Economic Development from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and received a BA, summa cum laude, in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University.
