About Blue Marble

We are an Impact InsurTech that aims to narrow the global protection gap by developing innovative solutions that protect the financially underserved. We are owned by five major insurance organisations that support our activities and global profile, spanning Asia, Africa and Latin America. Our partners include international development organisations, such as WFP and IFAD; as well as multinational companies with strong sustainability programs, such as Nestlé Nespresso, for whom we assess, design, and implement insurance programs.

Blue Marble in Latin America

In Latin America, we are addressing the financial vulnerability of smallholder farmers by providing affordable insurance protection against extreme weather conditions. In the region, the company currently has operations in Colombia, Honduras, and Guatemala. These projects involve the development and roll-out of insurance products to protect financially underserved individuals against climate risks, as well as the management of all the stakeholders involved. We are growing the programs in each of the countries in which we already operate, and we are working on replicating our success in Perú, Ecuador, México, Salvador, Puerto Rico and Brazil.
