Climate Finance Strengthens El Niño Resilience at FIVERDE

Climate finance can play an important role in strengthening resilience to El Niño and other extreme climate events.

On October 2, Ana María Gallón Soto, Global COO at Blue Marble, will speak at FIVERDE 2026 in Peru, joining the conversation on how climate finance can support adaptation and strengthen resilience to climate-related risks.

Organized by Peru’s Ministry of Environment, FIVERDE 2026 brings together leaders from government, financial institutions, businesses and other organizations to advance sustainable finance and investment. This year’s agenda includes climate finance, financial products for resilience and socio-environmental risk management, and biodiversity finance.

For Blue Marble, the discussion reflects a broader priority: building practical approaches that help communities and economies strengthen their financial resilience as climate risks evolve.
